Project Overview
Patriots Landing is a new single-family home community planned for roughly 43 acres along Muddy Lane in Elkton, in Cecil County, Maryland. The neighborhood will feature 100 detached homes set on large lots of around 8,000 square feet or more, giving every home generous space and a real sense of privacy. Rather than fitting in as many houses as the land would allow, the plan keeps things open and uncrowded — just over two homes per acre — for the relaxed, room-to-breathe feel of true suburban living. And because the community connects to public water and sewer through the Town of Elkton, residents enjoy that wide-open setting without giving up everyday convenience.
The design works with the natural landscape rather than against it. The streams and wetlands already on the property are protected and left in place, while dedicated open space and a neighborhood park give residents room to gather and unwind. Though the site is zoned for suburban residential use and could have been built far more densely, it was intentionally planned to stay low-key and green. The result is a thoughtfully designed neighborhood of quality new homes in an established, easy-to-reach part of northeastern Maryland - close to the roads and services that keep daily life simple, while still offering the calm and space of a quieter community.
